The original seats have been replaced with a nice pair of black leather bucket seats for additional support and comfort. Additionally, four-point harnesses have been added for safety. The car also features a classic stopwatch for that rally aesthetic. Again, all original parts remain with the vehicle, including two original black leather seats with red piping, which are in good condition. The condition of the interior is great, with fairly new carpeting. Some weathering can be seen on the dial of the speedometer. The car is also accompanied by a tonneau cover, and original side windows. Engine and Mechanics: This Austin Healey 100 BN1 is fitted with the Le Mans package, indicated by a small "M" in the grille. This package includes larger carburetors, and 8.1:1 compression ratio pistons. Together, these upgrades increase the car's power to 110 hp. Other upgrades include disc brakes on the front axle for added ease of maintenance. Despite these modifications, the car retains its original 3-speed gearbox. But if you're worried this won't be enough, don't worry. The gearbox has great gearing, and the engine offers good torque. Paired with the overdrive, this makes for a very usable car. The car is great to drive; it doesn't have too much power, but you can really tell it's a light car, and the handling is excellent. The car has also proven its reliability, as it recently embarked on a journey from Norway to the south of Sweden without a hiccup.
