This is the 62nd of the 350 Ferrari 250 Lussos ever built, with a history dating back to its production in 1963. The car was first ordered by Mrs. Botticini from Brescia and delivered to the renowned Ferrari dealer Crepaldi in Milan, who owned the car for three years before it was imported to the United States. It was then acquired by its third owner, who kept the car for 30 years until 1998. Afterward, the car was sold and exported to Sweden by its fourth owner, finished in a Celeste Metallizzato exterior over a Nero leather interior. The bodywork restoration was expertly handled by the renowned workshop Bacchelli & Villa, while the mechanical components and engine were fully overhauled by Sportauto Dienna. The interior was meticulously restored by Luppi, a renowned Ferrari interior specialist. As a result, this Ferrari 250 Lusso is an exceptional example, having been professionally restored and revised by top specialists. In 2004, Ferrari awarded the car its Classiche Certification, verifying its matching numbers and originality. Later, renowned Ferrari historian Marcel Massini inspected the car and issued a detailed report, the engine received an upgrade to 250 SWB SEFAC specification. These upgrades included Testa Rossa cylinder heads, and Weber 46 DCF/3 carburetors. For those wishing to return the engine to its original specification, all the original parts that were replaced are included in the sale.
In 2022, Mr. Berg sold the car to a Dutch collector. Although it was already near perfect, the new owner made a few final tweaks to bring it to 100%. The differential was renovated, and a full service was performed. Due to the collector's brief ownership period, the car retained its Swedish registration. Now, the collector has carefully chosen to sell the car through us at MOTIKON, Sweden based specialists in classic cars.
To conclude, we present a "concours condition" example of one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever produced. With its SWB engine upgrades, the car drives superbly and is a true joy to experience. Included in the sale are the original user manual
