Exterior: This 1966 4.2 E-Type Roadster is finished in the popular and iconic color of gunmetal gray. The exterior chrome pieces, are in exceptional condition. The car sits on completely new wire-spoke wheels with tires featuring thin white stripes. Its roadster configuration gives it a gorgeous appearance, enhanced by the iconic covered headlights and delicate tail lights. For days when the weather doesn't suit a convertible, the car features a black soft top that can be easily folded up.
Interior: The red leather interior provides a beautiful contrast to the gunmetal gray exterior of this Jaguar E-Type Roadster, a classic combination adored by most E-Type enthusiasts. This combination is particularly striking given the roadster's open cockpit design. The gauges, and chrome pieces are all in great condition.
Engine and mechanics: The 1966 Jaguar E-Type Roadster is a brilliant car to drive. Its 4.2-liter inline-six engine puts out an impressive 265hp, paired with a fully synchronized four-speed gearbox, making for an enjoyable drive. Under the hood, and it pretty much is. The engine has recently been fully restored, as has the rest of the car's mechanics. Underneath, with very minimal signs of usage after the restoration.
History and documentation: Like most Jaguar E-types that we have in Sweden, this car was imported back in 1992 from America. But at this time, there was no difference to the European model. It was registered here in 1993, a full restoration started. All the work was completed in 2024.
